Art Classes & Workshops
As a Brooklyn based gallery, the Muriel Guépin Gallery seeks to support and promote the vibrant artist community that it is a part of. The gallery‘s ambition is to be a reference in Brooklyn for viewing art of exceptional quality but also for developing and encouraging creativity. As such, the gallery has created an ambitious art program for adults and children. Anne Attal –the gallery’s interior designer- has designed a unique and engaging space dedicated entirely to the art classes that can easily accommodate up to 20 art students.
CHILDREN ART CLASSES
>View Current Class Schedule
Our art classes for children enrich a child's knowledge of art while exploring a wide variety of materials. Our ambition is to develop children’s creativity and to have them think of themselves as young artists. Children are given the freedom to explore, to trust their impulses and admire the beauty of their expression. Children are encouraged to learn how their feelings and thoughts can be brought to life in their artwork. In this way, their artwork becomes the story of their emerging self and development, a document of that particular moment, and a treasured keepsake.
Classes maintain a minimum teacher-student ratio of one to eight for younger children and are taught by art educators who are also professional artists.
