Robert Szot will be presenting a collection of his recent work from August 15th to September 1st at Muriel Guépin Gallery, with an opening reception on Thursday, August 15th, 6:30- 8pm. This exhibition, 3 Speeches, will showcase Szot's work in oil paint, as well as his more recent exploration into linocut printmaking. Szot's understanding of composition transcends medium. Never static, the motion that Szot creates through his layers of varying intensity, color, and form is dynamic and vibrant. Within these compelling works, there are suggestions of abstracted landscapes or corporeal forms. Szot's paintings are as sensuous and emotive as they are tedious and thoughtful.
Robert Szot lives and works in Brooklyn. He has exhibited throughout America and internationally. Szot has shown with The Painting Center and Melody Weir in New York and with the Saatchi Gallery in London. His work can be found in private collections worldwide.
